The Master Scuba Diver Trainer is an Instructor who has at least 5 specialty areas which they can train and certify divers. The training for this level can be achieved during your IDC as you are becoming an Instructor, or as you progress your diving to newer levels.

The Master Scuba Diver rating for recreational divers is the highest level of diving certification you can achieve as a non professional certification and is a very popular one within the industry. It shows the divers commitment to the sport of diving by learning more and experiencing more. As a Master Scuba Diver Trainer – you will be able to take the keen student diver to the highest level.

To qualify as a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, you must

  • Be a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor 
  • Have five PADI Specialty Instructor certifications
  • Have certified at least 25 PADI Divers
